Stronghold follows Rooster, a gang-affiliated young man from Compton determined to rise to the top of the drug trade at any cost. Driven by survival and ambition, Rooster is relentlessly haunted by inner demons and recurring visions from a turbulent past that steadily erode his state of mind.

His world begins to shift when he meets Tisha, a sharp-witted and intelligent woman whointroduces him to a life beyond the streets.
